A: Physical Therapy is an area of rehabilitative and preventative healthcare that incorporates exercise, manual therapy, and modalities to return to normal daily function and activity. A physical therapist is a licensed professional who specializes in the use of exercise to restore strength, balance, and movement. Physical therapy encompasses post-surgical, general rehabilitation and preventative care into a treatment plan for each individual.

 

Q: Do I need a referral for Physical Therapy?

A: No, direct access to physical therapy is legal in the State of Minnesota.

 

Q: Will you file my insurance forms?

A: Yes, we file with all health insurance companies, auto insurance, worker's compensation carriers, Medical Assistance and Medicare.

 

Q: Can I see any physical therapist I want?

A: Yes, you are entitled to see any physical therapist of your choosing and yes, your insurance will still pay.

 

Q: I’m not happy with my current physical therapist, can I switch to a new one?

A: Yes, results are #1. If you are not noticing results within the first week of treatment, it may not hurt to try another clinic
