Back in the Game

Sports-related Injuries:

  • Sports injuries can occur at any time to individuals of all ages and abilities

  • Even minor injuries can result in loss of playing time or inability to exercise

  • Physical therapy can accelerate return to activity and minimize pain, loss of strength and flexibility, and impaired function following an injury

  • Proper intervention can help to reduce the incidence of injury recurrence

  • Post-injury care including physical therapy is recommended by most physicians in order to return to full pain-free function and activity.

  • Even in cases where surgery is indicated, pre-surgical care has been proven highly effective in reducing the time of healing and post-surgical care is shortened and significantly more efficient.
